Michelle’s favourite thing is helping people stay true to themselves and be the best they can be with the aim of helping them reach their full potential. She always makes sure her staff feels valued and cared for, and knows they matter—so they can share those very same warm feelings with each of Sincerely, Skin’s guests.

Starting out as a social worker, first in Cape Breton and then Vancouver, Michelle discovered a love for building people up through education and other positive interventions. While in Vancouver, she earned a diploma in esthetics and worked in a management role as Director of Operations at a major Halifax spa for ten years after returning to Nova Scotia over 20 years ago.  Michelle has been a passionate advocate for the life-changing power of self-care and indulgence ever since, and in 2010 she struck out on her own with Willow Esthetics Boutique, now Sincerely, Skin. 

A loving mom and proud Cape Bretoner, Michelle spreads joy and fun wherever she goes. The team at Sincerely, Skin thinks Michelle is pretty awesome: she’s thoughtful, strong, genuine, and she inspires her staff and clients every day.
